HIROKAWA MikuriSoloist
HIROKAWA Mikuri was born in OKAYAMA Prefecture and trained under Tsutsumi Yumiko, Shakuta Tomoji, Mitani Kyozo and Yuki Miho. She graduated from New National Theatre Ballet School and joined the National Ballet of Japan. She was promoted to First Artist in 2021 and Soloist in 2023. She has danced Canari qui tombent and Sapphire in "The Sleeping Beauty", Lead Flowers in "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King", Pearls in David Bintley's "Aladdin", 2nd Variation in "Don Quixote", Clemence in "Raymonda", Two Courtesans and Hungarian Princess in Peter Wright's "Swan Lake", Three Witches in Will Tuckett's "The Tragedy of Macbeth" and Moth in Frederick Ashton's "The Dream".
